Typical Jackson-style...he was "nervous" about it. He was excited at first, but then was worried about going in the school. Was worried about seeing his new class (of course, we didn't see a class today). Was worried about meeting new friends (no new friends today either). Just all around worried and nervous.
Poor boy, has his daddy's nervous stomach about new and different things.
Things were better once we got into the school and there was a huge Oklahoma mural painted on the wall. That was an excellent ice breaker for him.
We had to enroll at Fisher Elementay, which is currently our 'home school' (even though it's 4+ miles from our house). But, when the 'New School West' is open this fall, that will be our new school. So, hopefully, we'll get lucky in the lottery drawing, and Jackson will get to go to "his school" as he's been calling it since they started building it.
