Monday Mayhem

Monday is the one day each week that I can usually get some things accomplished...and today was quite a successful day!

Today's tasks:
1. "clean up" my closet
2. empty dishwasher
3. pick up living room and dining table (where my "stuff" collects)
4. sort through Jackson's toys and GET RID OF SOME!!

And I was successful in completing those tasks!  Hooray!!!

We were able to get rid of one box of junk, some toys to take to my office, and was able to sort and organize everything else in Jackson's room.

And, WOO-HOO!!  We were even able to move all of his toys that had been collecting in the Living Room to his room.  This space hasn't been empty in, well, 4 1/2 years!

Last year for Christmas, Jackson got a playhouse that doubles as a tent/puppet show.  It's permanent home has been in my living room.  After getting everything cleaned out and put away today...my last goal was going to be to convince Jackson we should fold up the tent and find a place to keep it until he wanted to play with it again.  But, look who decided they would like to play with their toys in the tent...

AND...look at how the 2 kids spent the next 30-45 minutes of the afternoon, giving me a much needed little break...

I guess we'll keep the tent.
